These are the rules for using Rivori. They're short on purpose. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
You need an account to make boards, you must be at least 13, and the information you give us should be accurate. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them.
One person, one account. Don’t impersonate anyone — handles that pose as Rivori, as a brand, or as another person can be reclaimed.
Everything you put on a board stays yours. We don’t claim ownership of it. To actually run the service we need your permission to store it, resize and re-encode your images, generate link-preview cards for boards you make public, and show it to the people you share it with. That permission is limited to operating Rivori and it ends when you delete the content or your account.
You’re responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it. Please don’t upload anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights — and don’t use Rivori for spam or to promote things you have no connection to.
If you believe something here infringes your copyright, email legal@rivori.app with the work, the link, and your contact details, and we’ll look into it and remove anything infringing.
A public board’s link is its only lock. Anyone with that link can open it without an account and pass it to anyone else, so treat “public” as “visible to the internet”. An invite link lets whoever holds it join your board and add to it — send it only to people you mean to invite, and rotate or revoke it from the board’s settings if it gets out.
Marking a gift as bought is anonymous and needs no account. That means anyone with the board’s link can mark or un-mark items, which is the trade-off that keeps gift-buyers from having to sign up.
We apply rate limits and usage caps to keep the service available and affordable for everyone. Good-faith security research is welcome — email security@rivori.app before testing anything that could affect other people’s data.
Rivori shows product information — titles, prices, pictures — read automatically from retailer pages. It can be out of date or simply wrong, and a price on a card is never an offer. Always check the retailer’s own page before buying.
We’re not a shop, we don’t sell anything, and we’re not party to your purchase. Anything that goes wrong with an order is between you and the retailer. We may earn a commission on some outbound links; that never changes what you pay, and it doesn’t affect what appears on your boards — you choose everything there.
Rivori is free right now, and provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we don’t promise any particular uptime. If we ever introduce paid features we’ll say so clearly before you’re charged for anything. Please keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or where we’re required to by law — and we’ll try to tell you why unless we’re not able to. What happens to your data on deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Rivori is provided without warranties of any kind, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited — including, in some places, your statutory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If a provision turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app, and continuing to use Rivori after that means you accept them.
